Q/ How did you get into broadcasting?
A/ I started out as a Civil Engineering major but there was
one class I could not get through. It was Differential
Equations. I think I dropped it twice and failed it once.
From that point on I knew I needed to find another major. I
always enjoyed sports and enjoyed watching games on
television so I decided to combine the two.
Q/ What teams do you root for?
A/ Being from Philly, I'm admittedly a die-hard Eagles, Sixers,
Phillies, and Flyers fan. I also like the Los Angeles Lakers.
I go way back with the purple and gold. I still remember Magic
Johnson running the break for the Showtime Lakers of the 80s.
Some of my favorite players include Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant
and Josh Childress. And on the college scene, I enjoy any of the
Big Five teams in Philly (Villanova, Temple, St. Joes, LaSalle,
Penn). I also root for Georgetown, Kansas and several Pac-10
teams.
Q/ What do you like most about covering sports?
Have a question for me? Want to know the 411 on your favorite team? What I think about the hot sports topics? What I think of the new tracks being played on the radio? Or anything else. Just hit me on the email and I'll get back to you soon.

A/ I like having the best seat in the house at every game. I've been a huge sports fan since I was a kid. Watching sports is like witnessing history up close, especially when I have access to the unseen parts of the game. I also like telling stories and guiding people through the minds and lives of athletes.
Q/ What advice would you give to an aspiring sports broadcaster?
A/ Get your foot in the door anyway you can. Gain experience by exposing yourself to various tools in the industry. Broadcasting a is very competitive business, so the earlier you get started, the better.
